Personal Description:

Hi, my name is Anish. I'm 20 years old and an Institute of Education alumni with 625 points in my leaving certificate. I achieved the 96th percentile on the HPAT and am currently in my third year of medicine at UCD. I have achieved high grades (97%+) consistently in all of my listed subjects, and I have a passion to help other people achieve the same. As I am a recently graduated Leaving Certificate student, I can understand the stress and struggles that students face. The subjects I took in Leaving Cert were Biology, Chemistry, Physics, Math, Applied Math, English, German and Irish. I completed the Kumon course in English and reached level M in math when I was 15, and have also been a part of the CTY program for many years. I have more than 30 students worth of tutoring experience, with a range of different academic abilities, and have been successful in tutoring them to achieve their goal grade or higher. I am also fully flexible on covering any topic on the day of tutoring, with no advance notice needed. With thorough and complete knowledge on the LC papers for each subject, you can be sure to receive tutoring of the highest quality.

In the end, my main goal is to show other students like me that it isn't really as bad as it seems. Once it clicks and you understand it, you'll never forget it again.

Tutoring Experience:

Tutoring 5 people for the HPAT, boosting their score by 10 points (by calculating the difference in score between a sample exam before and after my help).

Tutoring over 35 students over the last 3 years for Leaving Cert and Junior Cert subjects, in both group and 1-1 settings.

Approach to Grinds:

My approach would be very methodical and dynamic, pushing the aspect of understanding the topic. Once it clicks and becomes understood, it becomes considerably easier. Applying this understanding to questions and examples will further solidify knowledge on the topic, fully testing the student's grasp on the topic.
