Information About Anastasia - Dublin tutor

Personal Description:

Hello! My name is Anastasia. I am a Bsc graduate of Maastricht University in the Netherlands, where I studied general biology with a focus on neuroscience. My other fields of study have included molecular biology and microbiology. I did both my Junior Cycle and Leaving Certificate in Ireland, in all three sciences, and so I have a very good understanding of the curriculum requirements, exam style questions and how best to answer them.

Tutoring Experience:

I have experience in teaching subjects in both the Irish and UK systems. I work primarily with teenagers, with most of my experience being that of the Junior Cycle/GCSE level. That being said, I have also tutored Leaving Certifica**Contact Detail Removed**vel/ A-level students as well. I always cater to my students' style of learning and level of knowledge, to create the optimal learning experience.

Approach to Grinds:

I make my classes as interactive and interesting as possible - asking the student, questions, opinions, applying what they learn to the real world and connecting topics to other subjects (eg. other sciences or even languages). The focus of my teaching is exam preparation. However I put a lot of value in teaching critical thinking and logical reasoning, since these skills are critical not only in my subjects, but education and life situations overall.
