Information About Ailish - Athenry tutor

Personal Description:

Hello, my name is Ailish and I am 19 years old from Galway. I offer online grinds in LC Biology. I did my Leaving Certificate in 2023 and got a H1 in Biology and Irish, and H2’s in all of my other higher level subjects (including HL Maths and Chemistry). I am starting Veterinary Medicine in September 2024 in the University of Edinburgh. From the beginning I have always loved Biology in school. It is a subject that has come quite naturally to me and has lead me towards my future career. I would love to help other students achieve the results that I did and help them understand and excel in their learning. Since I did my exams so recently I am up to date with the curriculum and the style of exam questions asked.

Tutoring Experience:

I thoroughly enjoy helping others learn. Throughout school I helped friends and other students with various subjects if they were struggling and shared my tips.

Approach to Grinds:

I like to adapt my teaching approach to each students way of learning and figure out what works best for them. I have my own notes readily available to share with students that include diagrams, definitions, flash cards and experiments. All of my notes are condensed with the key information you need to know and cover all topics on the course. This caters for all types of learners as we all learn in different ways!
