Personal Description:
My name is Adam, I am a Maintenance Engineer with Mechanical engineering background working in Amazon Logistics.
I have a passion for teaching.
I have excellent experience in teaching Mathematics, Physics and varies Engineering Modules for 3rd Level students (University).
I have good experience in teaching Leaving and Junior Certificate mathematics for both Higher and Ordinary Level as well.
Tutoring Experience:
I had my Mechanical Engineering degree from the University of Jordan in 2012 (1st class honours).
I have more than 10 years of Tutoring experience in Jordan and Ireland. This includes tutoring School students (Junior and Leaving Cert.), University level students, Master students and Mature students.
I worked as a teacher assistant in the Academic Learning Centre at Cork Institute of Technology, helping the students in different modules including Mathematics, Physics, Mechanics and Thermodynamics.
I worked as a lab supervisor in Amman, teaching Mechanical Engineering labs, and Mechanics of Material tutorials.
Approach to Grinds:
I am able to teach most of the Mechanical and Civil Engineering modules, that includes: Mathematics, Physics, Fluids, Thermodynamics, Mechanics, Dynamics, Vibration, Machine design, and Structures. I can help students in their projects as well.
I have experience in teaching Junior and Leaving Certificate students for Mathematics and Physics.
Most of my students have passed their exams, and I was able to help them to enhance their results and achieving very good marks.

He is courteous, punctual and so kind and patient with my daughter; she has a smile on her face after the grind. After only two sessions, her confidence in her ability has already improved. My son was not confident with some of the basics and me trying to help didn’t work so I looked for a tutor.
Adam has been great and really helped my son by showing him different learning / working strategies and going over the papers with him to make sure he was comfortable with everything.
On top of being competent and a real pedagogue, he is reliable and really nice so I would highly recommend him.
We don’t have the JC results yet but my son was quite happy with his exams.
