Adriane's feedback about Ned (Elementary Chinese tuition near Windsor)
After being back in Hong Kong, my 11-year old said, "I miss Ned!" He bonded with Ned over illustrating. Our other two kids ages 9 and 13 (who go to a bilingual school) spent a few days a week with Ned during our time in Vancouver. We found Ned to be patient and kind, and he made the tutoring sessions fun. He was accommodating with his time, even spending time with us at the Science Museum (all in Mandarin). Teaching Mandarin can be difficult; Ned employed different tactics to motivate the kids, which made the summer tutoring experience more fun than painful (and they were prepared when school started up again, which is a bonus). To Ned: The one thing that made the tutoring more difficult was the transportation and the time spent getting to and from the libraries, and the cost over the tutoring. I had thought when I was first in touch with you that this was flexible, but I guess it worked out in the end. The next time, it would be great to have the time to do more "fun" things with you, like the Science Museum. The tutoring hours are pretty expensive though, so that's why the kids mostly just worked with you. We'd like to hire you full time next time as our fun Mandarin "manny"! let's keep in touch!! Christopher is still obsessed with bubble tea - what have you done?! :-)
David's feedback about Ned (Elementary Chinese tuition near Port Coquitlam)
Ned is a very nice and patient tutor, he is always engaging in his lessons and will help you on areas you want to learn and improve. And always takes suggestions from me on other ways to improve our lessons together :)
