Knowledgeable and modest. A likeable chap. We're still finding our way. I initially contacted Chris for Saxophone Lessons, but these are on "hold" until I get a mute. So, I'm trying Guitar Lessons instead. Some of it has been quite simple, and some of it tough. But it has all been useful. He is open to hearing how I want to proceed and is basing the lessons on my aims.

I picked up a brand new instrument (The Saxophone), knowing nothing about it and went to Gary to help me get started. Thanks to his excellent teaching skills I can now play the instrument very confidently even thou I have only been playing for 4 months or so. Gary was aware that I am a complete beginner and had never held any instrument before, so his patience with me in my first few lessons was really helpful and it's something any beginner would want from their teacher. When I first picked up the instrument, I wasn't entirely sure if I was going to stick with it as the Saxophone does look rather intimidating to be fair! But because of Gary's brilliant teaching technique and his passion for the instrument, I myself have now fallen in love with the Saxophone! I would highly recommend Gary to anyone looking for a new teacher.
