Felicity's feedback about Julia (Beginner Saxophone tuition near Kidlington)
Julia helped my 10 year old daughter gain confidence and prepare for her grade 1 saxophone exam. Julia was incredibly knowledgeable and helpful. She gave Rosie so much excellent advice in a patient and enthusiastic manner which helped Rosie enormously. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Julia as a music teacher. Her knowledge and enthusiasm is fantastic!
Hui's feedback about Andromachi (Beginner Piano tuition near Kidlington)
Maggie is friendly and experienced, with endless patience, which I think is crucial when teaching children. My daughter recently achieved a distinction in grade 2 piano thanks to the guidance from Maggie. She gave my daughter a lot of encouragement and boosted her confidence after a long hiatus from piano playing. It has been a lovely experience learning piano from Maggie.
Joanne's feedback about Julia (Beginner Saxophone tuition near Kidlington)
Iv been very pleased with Julia and our contact so far. She’s very efficient with replying and very accommodating with being flexible with lesson times. Julias first lesson was very thorough, and went very well and she made my son feel at ease and he enjoyed the lesson.
Nick's feedback about Vince (Beginner Mandolin tuition near Kidlington)
I am a beginner/improver on the mandolin and have been having weekly lessons with Vince for just over 3 months. I am really pleased with how they're going. I was looking for a tutor for whom the mandolin was a primary instrument, which is the case with Vince, rather than an add-on. This has the benefit of allowing me to learn from the intuition he has developed from playing in solo and in bands over many years. While the lessons are relaxed, he pushes me along all the time, showing the possibilities that pieces offer for further development, even when some of the techniques will need a few months' more practice to become fluent. He is unfailingly encouraging and patient. I find each lesson fun and enlightening, and feel highly motivated to practice in between each session. Being at different ends of the country, the lessons have all been over Zoom. I was a bit concerned about how that would actually work but have been very pleasantly surprised by their smoothness - even playing pieces together has been possible without any glitches. In summary, I am very happy to recommend Vince unreservedly.
Joy's feedback about Jane (Expert Cello tuition near Kidlington)
Jane is a highly professional and dedicated teacher, and very thorough in her approach. Our daughter is soon to take her Grade 7, and we definitely recommend Jane, especially if your child is Grade 7 or above. We wish we could have found her long before now!
Sophie's feedback about Philippa (Advanced Cello tuition near Kidlington)
Philippa is a lovely teacher. My 13 year old daughter enjoys her lessons and has been re-inspired in learning the cello because of Philippa's kind and encouraging teaching style. She always gives meticulous feedback and clear practice suggestions. Highly recommended!
Claire's feedback about Stefan (Beginner Violin tuition near Kidlington)
It is early days but Stefan is encouraging and has the patience and experience to cope with adult beginners. The lessons have been relaxed and purposeful thus far with clear explanations for the techniques he advocates. I look forward to making progress over the weeks ahead.
Mairi's feedback about Edmund (Beginner Violin tuition near Kidlington)
My son (age 5) has just started some lessons with Edmund. Edmund has been really patient with him and my son enjoys the lessons.
John's feedback about Enikő (Intermediate Piano tuition near Kidlington)
Eniko very quickly recognised where I need help and guidance and structured my lessons appropriately. She has provided me with a range of ideas, pieces, exercises and goals which we rotate through lessons. Lessons are always varied and stimulating. What I particularly like is her holistic approach to music, incorporating a piece, the scales and chords for the piece , explaining relevant musical theory as well as the historical context of the composer and when/why a piece was written. Everything is explained effectively and clearly. She has helped enormously on my sight reading, giving me a well-structured approach. Lessons seem to pass very quickly, they are fun! I always look forward to the next one and I am delighted have the opportunity to be taught by Enikő.
