Maria said Karen is a nice lady. However, Maria seems a bit indifferent about attending the piano lessons. I gather this is because her interests may not be in learning this particular instrument. It is also difficult to get Maria to sit down and practice just for a few minutes. It seems to me if she was excited about learning the piano she would be more enthusiastic. I told Maria it takes a long time to learn any instrument properly and you must have patience. I don't want to push her if she is not happy. We'll see how things go.
