Personal Description:

I love to play and teach piano and welcome beginners as well as those who have been playing for a while. I can teach different styles of playing whether you are preparing for a formal ABRSM exam for instance or alternatively just want to learn for fun. I love to play classical, pop and jazz and can coach you to develop your skills in all styles.

Tutoring Experience:

I have worked in primary and secondary schools, mentoring students of different ages and abilities to improve their skills

As a teacher my approach is tailored to each student's unique learning style, goals and musical interests. I will help you to reach your potential through a relaxed learning environment whereby I will endeavour to gently bring out your best ability.

I emphasise a strong foundation in technique, theory, and musical expression whilst fostering a love for playing and am am adaptive: I always aim to progress with each student at their own pace, whether they are beginners or more advanced players
