Personal Description:
I am a local musician singersongwriter and have gigged extensively around the country playing and supporting the likes of Sandi Thom, Nizlopi, Oasis, Cornershop, Primitives, Mega city fours, Crazyhead and many, many more… I currently gig with a few bands called Strange Hotel that I formed in December 2013 and a Midlands based pub rock outfit called All or Nuthin. I also have a number of solo albums coming out very very soon…
Tutoring Experience:
Over 30 years of playing and touring experience and 20 years of teaching experience I have something to offer that many others dont, I have had many satisfied musicians who from novices have left to form bands, become solo performers or just play for pleasure… which has made teaching such a rewarding experience for me and I still meet with up and go to gigs with many ex - students… I have also taught at a homeless charity which was a challenge as well as well very rewarding. I have also taught people with learning disabilities and continue to do so making the lessons fun and easy to understand…
Tutoring Approach:

I do a great basic 30 minu**Contact Detail Removed**sson for beginners at ten pounds and a 45 minute slightly more advanced lesson at fiftheen pounds which works great with teenagers… I Teach everyone from beginner to advanced and often tie up the missing parts of the jigsaw in advanced students or explain theory in a simple uncomplicated way… Teaching is only 50 percent of the process the rest is down to the individual to practice… I treat every single person as an individual , everyone has a different taste in music so I try and cater for that as much as I possibly can.
