Personal Description:
Trudi started playing the flute at the age of eight years old, where she quickly joined the Birmingham Conservatoire under the instruction of Bernard Herrman (BBC Northern Dance Band, The Good Old Days)
While studying there Trudi gained her Flute ABRSM grades 1 - 8 and shortly afterwards gained the Advanced Certificate (now DipABRSM).
She was a member of the Birmingham Chamber Orchestra and the Birmingham Conservatoire Symphony Orchestra.
Tutoring Experience:
Teaching and performing in Germany for the British Forces Schools lasted some years before returning to the UK, where she has her own music studio in the heart of Rugby. Has been a professional tutor for over 30 years.
Tutoring Approach:
Fun, relaxing structured way to learn your instrument and to read music. ABRSM exans are taken if the student is ready or just learn for fun. I teach in a very relaxing, cosy environment with a fabulous piano. Practise is needed inbetween lessons in order to progress.
I teach all ages and standards.
