Driven by the enjoyment and satisfaction of guiding pupils and watching students’ progress their own style, Tom maintains strong roots in music theory and is a committed and versatile teacher.

Tom has been classically trained on the piano since the young age of 7 years old. After graduating with a 1st class degree in May 2017 from Chichester University in BA music performance, piano & vocal coaching have been a huge part of his life. After performing in front of crowds containing over 1000 people, Tom excelled in performing under pressure along with performing in ensembles and performing solo in venues around Europe.

Tutoring Experience:

6 years including 2 years at the University of Chichester teaching vocal performance privately.
Currently teaching 43 students, (aged 6-62) I strongly believe in inspiring each different person with their specific musical abilities while developing, moulding and enhancing their passion for music.

Tutoring Approach:

With young aspirations to write orchestral scores for the film industry, in Tom's spare time he enjoys exploring paths of inspiration. Tom's not scared of accepting new challenges such as creative writing for a four-piece ensemble along with being self-taught on the guitar, leading into classical and contemporary interests. During Tom's secondary career, he joined the music leaders program allowing him to work with all types of diverse pupils while visiting local primary schools in the area.
