Personal Description:
I am a tenor in the Royal Opera Chorus, working full time at Covent Garden. I graduated with 1.1 hons from University of Manchester in 2012 and was awarded the prizes for composition, performance and highest overall degree score. I then studied for my Masters in Vocal Studies at the RNCM in Manchester, graduating with a distinction in 2014. My musical experience is rounded as I am also a proficient pianist, jazz bass player and composer and love to help any level of musicians in improving their understanding.
Tutoring Experience:
I have worked as a music teacher since 2012 when I enrolled at college. I have taught singing, bass guitar, music theory, conducting and composition.
Tutoring Approach:
I believe every student is an individual when it comes to music theory. To learn the Ins and outs of music is like learning a language and my approach is to assess how best to demonstrate how the ideas of music theory and irk and most importantly, why they work that way.
