Personal Description:
I am an experienced teacher of piano, flute and theory of music, based in South Birmingham. I am a Licentiate of the London College of Music and Principal Flute in the Midlands Chamber Orchestra. I teach children and adults, in person and online, specialising in classical style.
Tutoring Experience:
I have over 10 years teaching experience and 100% pass rate in ABRSM exams. For those who don’t wish to take exams, I have helped them to progress and explore repertoire.
Tutoring Approach:
I adapt my teaching style to suit the individual, covering technique and an appreciation of music. For those who are interested in taking exams, I teach the ABRSM exam syllabus. I also welcome students who want to learn purely for pleasure. I believe learning an instrument should be fun.
