Information About Steven - Weymouth teacher

Personal Description:

My love of creating music started when I was still at school playing in bands with friends creating music with very basic synthesizers and drum machines.
Things became more serious when a co producer and myself were given our first recording contract under the band name Fluid. Our first release Cascade was played by many top DJ’s and a follow up single Sunboost was released soon after. Today I am still making music in my spare time with the band Metaverse. I have also worked with composer Simon Rogers (Lightning Seeds,Slaker, etc) where I gained a vast amount of knowledge of recording and production.

Tutoring Experience:

I have been teaching Music Technology for Newham College of Further Education/ Newham Adult Learning service for the past twelve years.
I attained the City & Guilds 7407 Level 4 and DTLLS Level 5 Cert Ed qualifications in teaching. I have also been awarded with 8 grade one outstanding teaching observations. I am also a certified Apple trainer in Logic pro x software.

Tutoring Approach:

i have taught in large college organisations and small community colleges. My approach to teaching is to keep lessons exciting but very informative. i feel learners learn best when carrying out tasks in a practical way and in that they can see instant results.
