Personal Description:
I am a freelance saxophonist and teacher based in Leeds.
As a freelance saxophonist I’ve performed in various groups across the country and abroad; from playing for royalty in Morocco to being invited onstage to jam by Larry Graham from Sly & the Family Stone.
Tutoring Experience:
I have been teaching saxophone for a number of years and am comfortable with total beginners to more advanced pupils of very varying ages.
Tutoring Approach:
I have experience teaching the Trinity Classical syllabus and the ABRSM Classical and Jazz grades. However, if studying for grades doesn't appeal to you, I’m able to create a bespoke lesson plan tailored to your requirements.

The lessons have been fun, engaging and tailored to my own needs and goals.
I feel that I’ve already made solid progress with the sax and have no doubt that I’m building a solid foundation to progress from, thanks to Stephen’s lessons.
The lessons are given in a purpose made studio which is clean, bright and welcoming.
