Personal Description:
I have spent 27 years playing music professionally in the British Army and travelled the world playing music for Royalty, Military and civilians. I have played styles; Big band drums, concert band, Traditional Jazz band, pop band, dance band styles, which include drum kit playing and orchestral ie Timpani Xylophone Marimba Glockenspiel etc
Tutoring Experience:
I have taught children as young as 9 and older adults. I have also coached fellow military players for exams. My younger pupils have passed grades 1 and 8.
I offer theory to grades 1-5
Tutoring Approach:
I am keen to match the tuition to each pupil for their requirements. I use the Trinity Rock and Pop and traditional grades in drum kit - but exams are not essential
1Hr - £25 I only offer this to students who really need it for exams or advanced grades or a combo of snare drum and tuned perc for instance.

Any travel to students will subject to extra cost negotiated, however normally the student will travel to me.
