Personal Description:
I have been a musician for more than 35 years, and I have over 25 years experience as a teacher, performer, composer and music technologist. I have extensive experience as both a classical and popular performer, and have played in a diverse range of venues including: The Royal Albert Hall; The Royal Festival Hall; The Barbican Concert Hall; nationally acclaimed music festivals such as Guilfest, Redfest and the Watchet festival.
Tutoring Experience:
I have taught students ranging from 6 to 68, covering a wide range of abilities and interests.
Tutoring Approach:
I like to make learning an instrument as fun as possible. My lessons are tailored to the needs and aims of the students and I actively adapt my approach depending on each individual's goals and abilities. I am happy to teach to the ABRSM or Trinity syllabuses or purely for casual enjoyment.

I was nervous so I talk a lot but Simon with his very chilled relaxed personality, that you feel and vibe when you meet him, totally relaxed me and I couldn’t of asked for more!

Great rapport with my 12 year old son.
Nice level of encouragement which is needed as my sins a bit behind and about to start studying music for GSCE. Would recommend Simon.
