Personal Description:

I studied piano,keybord,church organ and theory with ABRSM and the London College of Music and a I am member of The Royal Society of Musicians of Great Britain .
I teach all age groups and abilitys and tailor my lessons to the individual students personal aspirarations .
I have worked for the music service and the London College of Music and I have a private teaching practice.
and prepare students for ABRSM and LCM exams if they wish,the most important part of the lessons is to enjoy progressing and have fun learning new styles and genres .
i prepare students for GCSE exams both the practuical and theory.
assesment.I am a Duke of Edinburgh assessor.
I have extensive experience in both teaching and performing.

Tutoring Experience:

I trained as a music tutor with Manchester University and London College of Music and The London College of Music and after qualifying in 1994 I started teaching mainly privately and with Tameside Music services in schools and colleges where I have taught all age groups and abilities from beginners to advanced. I also prepare students for GCSE and Btec practical work and I am an adviser and assessor for the Duke of Edinburgh award scheme , I hold a current enhanced DBS certificate and I am a member of the European Piano Teachers Association.

Tutoring Approach:

I keep up to date with the latest trends and developments in education and my students needs are tailored to suit their personal aspirations either at my home studio or online my main aim is for them to learn in a relaxed , friendly and professional environment . If students wish to take exams at any time in the future I use A.B.R.S.M. and L.C.M. exam boards. My philosophy is that music should be Inspirational , Educational,Exciting and Fun.
