Personal Description:

Hi,
I'm Scott, an experienced guitarist of over 15 years with a Bachelor's Degree in Music; I've has spent the last 7+ years being a DBS checked guitar teacher, session musician, live performer and songwriter in the UK.

I specialise in Rock, Pop, Metal and Funk - but with the ability and knowledge of most styles.

​Primarily known for being in North East metal titans Arcite, (Who have shared the stage with artists such as Devin Townsend, Exodus, Mushroomhead, Soulfly, Crowbar, 36 Crazyfists, Evile & more) I've worked with professional entertainments and cruise bands across the UK, covering a wide variety of genres from 50s/60s motown, to 70s disco, to modern rock and pop.

Tutoring Experience:

​Over the past few years I've spent hundreds of hours helping people of all ages and backgrounds progress and achieve their musical goals; ranging from children's group lessons in primary schools to online internet shredders.

Having grown up playing music from a young age, I have some of the best knowledge and technical ability that guitarists can offer.

Tutoring Approach:

I welcome all abilities, styles and ages to my music lessons and will happily teach you anything you would like to learn.

Usually, lessons include an appropriate and easy mix of practical and theory, but I firmly believe that each individual learns in a different manner, therefore, lessons are adapted and tailored for each individual student.

I take a lot of pride in creating lessons that are both insightful and enjoyable, and I strive to help everyone achieve their goals.
