Personal Description:
A postgraduate professional singer (University of British Columbia, Canada) and an experienced voice teacher (B.A.mus in Vocal Performances) with 25 years of teaching experience, taught in Italy, Canada, and the UK. Sarit teaches piano (beginners to advanced), singing (classical, pop, jazz, musical theatre), ABRSM Music Theory, composition (GCSE, A level), arranging, conducting (choral, instrumental).
Tutoring Experience:
My name is Sarit and I am a professional musician with 25 years of teaching experience in teaching both singing and piano.
I hold a Master's degree in Choral Conducting and Bachelor of Music in Vocal Performances as well as a diploma in piano.
Through the years I have performed frequently as a soloist in concert halls, both as a singer and as a professional pianist and accompanist. Among my performances in 2004 I have sang as a soloist in front of Pope John Paul II at the Vatican in Rome during a Wednesday Mass. I also worked as a professional piano accompanists to various choirs and soloists.
Teaching singing: I have been teaching singing and voice technique for the 20 years; taught in Canada, Italy, and UK in Schools of Music, local music conservatories and privately. I teach wide range of styles; from popular songs to classic and choral music. I have an extensive experience in performing on stage and an ability to adapt my lessons and my teaching to each of my students' needs.
Recent feedback: Very proud that two of my piano students received a distinct grade at their ABRSM exams. Very proud as well for one of my compositions student who received the highest grade for his GCSE in composition among his peers.

Tutoring Approach:
I believe that each student is unique in his/her needs and therefor my lessons vary from one student to another, however my teaching will always include the fundamentals of good and healthy singing technique from posture, to breath control, diction, voice projection and performance skills. I am proud to say that during all my years of teaching I was always successful to help and improve each of my students. You are welcome to read some of the reviews on my website.

she is patient, sympathetic, creative in her teaching methods but with the right measure of sternness. I came to her with the improbable goal of learning the bass part ( I can't properly read music!) of a 40-minute Handel choral work. i made it in about 6 lessons!
