Personal Description:

I have always been very musical myself and loved performing, it is my passion and l see it as a wonderful way to relax and express myself! I started learning instruments from a young age, first the piano and recorder at 6/7 years old, then as l got a bit older I also took an interest in the flute and started having lessons at around the age of 9. As l progressed and developed into my teens, l took part in many school performances and assemblies sometimes playing solo or within a band. I also took GCSE music which consisted of composition, performance, a listening test and passed with a good B grade. I feel that I am very good with both people and children, l can relate well to others and believe anyone is capable of reaching their goals if they try hard enough. I achieved grade 5 in piano, flute and music theory and am able to teach up to that standard.

Tutoring Experience:

I have mainly taught younger children and beginners most of whom friends and relatives in the past to play the piano, flute and recorder for fun. I have now been tutoring for the past 5 years and taught many different pupils from children as young as 5 to adults as old as 70! I have prepared and entered pupils for grades who are more keen to progress and achieve, whilst others just wish to learn and play for fun. I drive, travel and teach people in the comfort of their own homes and would also be happy to teach in local schools if required.
