Personal Description:
I am a fully qualified teacher of Music and SEND, and I graduated from The Royal Scottish Academy of Music and Drama. I am a Grade 8 Euphonium player, with experience of playing the Trombone, Flugel Horn and Piano.
Tutoring Experience:
I have over 8 years of teaching and coaching experience, working across the full age range from First School to Sixth Form. Adults are also welcome to inquire about lessons!
Tutoring Approach:
BRASS
I can teach all levels of brass players from beginners to Grade 8 plus. My particular specialisms include the Euphonium, Trombone and Flugel Horn.
PIANO
Strictly for beginners! Grades 1 - 5 catered for, at a relaxed and happy pace. These lessons would be especially good for younger students and those who are maybe a little nervous but keen to make music.
THEORY OF MUSIC
I am experienced in coaching students through the Grade 5 Theory of Music examination offered by the ABRSM. I teach in a friendly and open way, and try my best to make the sessions accessible, understandable and comprehensive. I also have a 100% success rate!
