Information About Samuel - Sheffield teacher

Personal Description:

Hi I'm Sam, I'm a professional musician and music tutor based in Sheffield, South Yorkshire. After graduating with a 1st Class Honours Degree in Music Production and Performance in 2018, I have worked full time as a bass guitarist and vocalist in various theatre, wedding and function bands. I have also worked full time for 4 years as a musician for Princess Cruises.

Tutoring Experience:

Alongside my degree, I have also undertaken a number of National Autistic Society modules for non medical helpers/mentors. I have an Enhanced DBS check that can be provided upon request.

Tutoring Approach:

In my time teaching students varying in age from 6 to 70 it's been clear that one teaching method does not necessarily suit all individuals way of learning. As a tutor I aim to tailor my lessons to the needs of each student to help them achieve their goals in a fun easy going teaching environment, allowing each student to reach their full potential. I offer Rockschool grade tuition levels 1-8 for bass guitar and 1-4 for electric guitar. I also offer music theory tuition.

Lessons can take place at my premises in S20 (about 5 minutes from Crystal Peaks shopping centre) or at your own home depending on your preference. I also offer intrument rental for £5 per week (subject to availability).
