Personal Description:

I am a professional accorsionist who has a passion for teaching. I am qualified with the LBCA diploma for accordion and grade 8 theory. I have been teaching for 5 years, I have done some recording work for the BBC, and play with local orchestras for musical productions.

Tutoring Experience:

I have been teaching for 5 years with pupils entering (and placing) in local and national competitions. They also take exams acheiving high results.

Tutoring Approach:

Whatever style of playing or learning you are looking for really. I can offer a laid back late start learning for fun approach, but equally for those who want to learn and take exams, I can take a more professional approach creating appropriate challenges to push you further.

From Gary (5/5): Excellent tuition so far using the medium of Zoom conferencing to teach which is a huge benefit due to the current climate.

Open and easy communication and a teacher who makes you feel comfortable, engaged, challenged and supported. Could not recommend highly enough.

From David (1/5): Having given all details, Samantha expressed willingness to start teaching me the accordion. She has failed to even give me one lesson and is clearly not at all organised. She did refer me to a colleague that has also proved totally unreliable.

Reply from: Samantha: David i am sorry to hear that you havent heard from anna. As i explained. I have moved to Somerset and i no longer teach in ringwood other than orchestra.

I cannot speak ok annas behalf but i was not aware that she had not contacted you. Due to my husband having had exstensive cancer treatment this year i have not taken on any New students.

I would like to resolve this for you. I can either sort out for you to come here for lessons, or i can nudge anna to get i contact?
