Personal Description:

Hello :)

My name is Saira. I currently work as a freelance Saxophonist and teacher in the North-West.

As a performer I play a wide variety of genre and styles: as a House Saxophonist in bars and nightclubs, a more Classical Saxophonist at weddings and parties and as part of a Bhangra ensemble. I trained as a classical player in Germany and have had experience teaching and playing all types of music.

Tutoring Experience:

I have been teaching the Saxophone and Clarinet or over 20 years in both the UK and abroad. I have my own private music studio in my garden and enjoying teaching Classical, Jazz and of course, House.

Tutoring Approach:

I believe that music is for everyone, regardless of age or experience! I like to keep lessons personal, engaging and most of all, fun.

I also have a small stock of hire instruments that beginners can use before buying their first instrument. I am, of course, happy to advise if you need help buying!
