Information About Renée - Leeds teacher

Personal Description:

Hi! I am a recent graduate at Leeds conservatoire. I would love to start teaching more regularly and gain some students again. I have played piano since I was around 10 and have a really wholistic experience with the instrument. From being taught by ear, teaching myself and professional tutoring at degree level. Piano is my passion and I would love to share my knowledge!

Tutoring Experience:

I was previously employed at a private music tutoring company but had to leave due to scheduling at university. I had a range of students from children to adults and taught consistently for around a year. I had also done teaching privately before university and had work experience as a teaching assistant in a music department of a secondary school.

Tutoring Approach:

I love to teach in an all encompassing environment. Ear training, sight reading, performing and theory are all areas I am willing to teach as well as wholistic lessons looking at all areas. I love teaching in a way that leaves students wanting more and asking why and hopefully along the way we can answer those questions! I believe to have a wholistic approach to an instrument is what makes learning it not only smoother but also more enjoyable.
