Personal Description:
I am currently studying Saxophone at Birmingham Conservatoire, as well as having obtained various ABRSM grade 8s on a number of instruments including Piano. I was awarded the ABRSM high achievers Fred Southall prize in 2010.
Tutoring Experience:
I have a number of years teaching experience with pupils aged 4-70. Many of my pupils enjoy working towards and taking exams (I have 100% pass rate, with many gaining merit/distinction), but I also have pupils who just want to learn for fun.
Tutoring Approach:
I organise concerts annually to provide pupils with a platform for showcasing their musical skills if they wish. Last years concert had over 20 performers with a friendly, encouraging audience. I believe music lessons should be thoroughly enjoyable, and aim to make this the case!
