Personal Description:
I started playing in the early Seventies and went professional in 1985. During my career I have had record and publishing deals, worked as a session musician in Britain and America and toured extensively. As well as song writing, in more recent years I have written for film and **Contact Detail Removed**vision. I have lived in Padstow since 1992 and am married with two children.
Tutoring Experience:
I have been teaching professionally for 25 years, for the last 6 years as the guitar tutor for Cornwall College. For those who wish, I can offer grades from preliminary to grade eight (grades 6-8 carry U.C.A.S. points equivalent to AS - A levels), then on to degree and masters through the Registry of Guitar Tutors / London College of music.
Tutoring Approach:
I tailor the lessons to the needs and requests of the individual (he who pays the piper calls the tune). I do however, like to explain how it works rather than just teach party pieces.
