Personal Description:
I hold Grade 8 Cello, Degree in music & Music Theory. At degree level I focused in performance, composition and arrangement.
I'm dedicated and love to teach music. As a teacher I will help you achieve (at your level and at your progression) to what ever is your goal.
I'm available week days, weekends and also during the holidays.
I believe its important to get to know each other and set out achievable goals… If you have any more questions please get in touch!
Tutoring Experience:
Over 10 years teaching in a classroom environment.
I hold a valid DBS Enhanced (CRB).
Areas I have taught are Music, English, Science Maths, Art and Primary (KS 1, 2, 3, 4 & 5 lessons).
I've run a school department. I've taunt guitar, cello, violin, keyboards and music theory. I privately teach pupils in the local area on a daily basis covering a large area around Lincolnshire and Hull.
I've achieved excellent results with pupils with specific learning difficulties (SpLD) and behavioural problems. I've completed a course in sign language. I did this so I could make sure I could communicate 2 pupils in my class rooms who had cochlear implant without relying on a teaching assistant to translate for me.
Tutoring Approach:
I believe it's very important to understand how a person approaches learning, either from either visual, auditory or kinaesthetically prospective. From then I can find the best way to adapt my teaching. I have a good history of success with good and outstanding from Ofsted. I'm committed to improving pupil/personal development with what ever approach works best for you.
