Personal Description:
"Everything should be as simple as possible and no simpler," said Einstein. That is my motto. I can show you how you can play up to 80% of popular music, with just four guitar/piano chords in our first free lesson. I only charge £12,50 as I prefer to teach online BUT the lessons are practically as good as in person.
Tutoring Experience:
I'm a singer, song writer with 30 years of experience teaching and performing and I have been teaching all ages, at various levels of competence, catering for a wide range of styles. I'm also a trained life coach with much experience assisting students with mastering performance anxiety and in staying focused on their goals.
I am familiar with various mobile apps and free programs that I can introduce you to, I also teach singing, piano and song writing, I'm familiar with Music Grading Curriculums which counts towards University UCAS points, and I have a CRB/DBS check certificate.
Tutoring Approach:
I tailor my lessons around the student's requirements, needs and learning objectives. I pride myself in making learning fun, quick, effective and engaging. I use some cutting-edge tech including various free mobile apps.
I have a university degree in Computer Science and left my job as a Systems Analyst at Ford Motor Company to pursue my musical interests. I love teaching, I love music and I regularly upload my songs to YT. Online sessions are practically as good as face to face, yet more convenient and much cheaper!

Great value for money
during the time I have been working with Oscar I have found that my playing has improved greatly
as a partially self taught musician I already knew 'the basics' but with Oscar's tuition I have greatly improved my technique and have had comments made by professional musicians who have seen my playing improve since working with Oscar
I would recommend Oscar without hesitation to anyone looking for a Tutor in the Northolt or West London area
Your teaching at home facilities need to be looked at, as I was not comfortable with having a one to one lesson in a room that was a bedroom.
Neither were my family.
This is not the professional set up I was expecting.
I live in a one bedroom flat. There is a bedroom, a living room, a bathroom and small kitchen and it is most unfortunate that you seem to have confused my sofa for a bed and decided to give me a negative review before coming for the second of the two free lessons I offered you. I also offered you a free CDROM course valued at £45 also for free. I am not sure what else I could have done.
No one has complained about where I live in the 14 years that I have been living and teaching from home. I have been teaching for over twenty years, I have taught at schools, businesses and privately and this is the first time something like this has ever happened. Clearly nothing is so simple that it cannot be misunderstood and the greatest problem in communication is the illusion that it has been accomplished.
I am sorry that we got off to an unfortunate start and if you change your mind and would like two more free Spanish lessons then I would be very happy to oblige.
To any one reading this, please know that I extend the same courtesy to you as I did to this lady. TWO free Spanish lessons and a most awesome CDROM course also for free.
Allow me to also point out something that a wise man once said: "we are disturbed not by what happens to us, but by our thoughts about what happens"
Thank you Oscar.
Yasmine
Gracias Mark
It was good to meet with you yesterday. Please note that Katie sometimes needs things to be said a couple of times before she understands it - I have said to her that I don't think you would have any problem with that. It would be good if we could agree a set time and date each week. I hope that is useful. Thank you. Paul
My son AIden had 4 lesson so **Web Address Removed**'s going good. One thing Aiden has pointed out was that he needs more finger training. As he often plays a piece mainly using his right hand and at intervals he needs use his left hand to accompany the piece and lot of the time he does make the right intervention with his left hand, because he switched on using right hand.
