Information About Nigel - Yeovil teacher

Personal Description:

I’m a super enthusiastic musician, with years of drumming, band experiences & love of listening & playing music. I always come to my teaching with a smile & very positive approach.

Tutoring Experience:

I have been a life-long drummer & started my teaching 20 years ago. I set up and run a teaching coop in Oxford and Somerset working with other musicians & teachers. Our work is mainly in primary & secondary schools but we also provide private lessons.
I’ve more recently become interested in music tech & spent a lot of time with my band & other projects, recording, mixing & producing. I teach sessions on all the basics of working with DAWs to produce tracks for personal or other use.

Tutoring Approach:

My work with students centres around their needs & aspirations. You might want to study & progress intensively through grade levels or you might want to learn the drums as a weekend hobby. You might be very musical or interested in opening your eyes (and ears) to music. I will be sensitive to these needs & align the lessons to progress your drumming & musical understanding to help you get the most from the sessions.
