Tutoring Experience:

I have 30 years experience in teaching from school to university level and have worked as a Music Education Facilitator for The London Sinfonietta, Opera Factory, English National Opera, The London Symphony Orchestra & The London Philharmonic Orchestra.

Tutoring Approach:

I can offer a unique learning programme that will suit your needs as a musician. I also deliver online sessions via Skype, Jamkazam and Zoom.
My teaching practice believes in the emphasis is on student centred learning, constructive appraisal and the gaining of skills, knowledge and understanding of music and creative musicianship. Sessions are highly structured and aim to suit the individual learning requirements of the student, through developmental feedback, advice and guidance. Music education should challenge, fulfil and enrich.
Tuition is based at Foxton, Leicestershire and home visits are available. Sessions are between 30, 60 and 90 minutes duration depending on programme and skills level.
Music tuition should all the development of skills, knowledge & understanding in the pursuit of goals, learning through structured activity, creativity and the enjoyment of personal achievement.
