Personal Description:

I am a self-taught and highly intuitive bass player who has been playing for over 20 years. I play a variety of styles from very basic driven punk rock all the way through to funk and Jazz. I absolutely love the bass guitar for its versatility and for its ability to create a heartbeat to the music that it supports.

Tutoring Experience:

I have taught students on and off for a number of years though it has not been my main profession. This will be the first time I formally taught and I'm very much looking forward to it!

Tutoring Approach:

I believe that with bass guitar, the emphasis has to be on the relationship between the player and the instrument itself. For me the most importan**Contact Detail Removed**ment of my playing and experience is to have fun and to play the music that you enjoy. Rather than teaching Theory I am interested in teaching technique and patterns. This is a very right brained technique but one which allows for a flow based approach to learning. If you're someone that struggles with following a script then I may just be the right tutor for you.
