Personal Description:

My name is Miguel and I am a Spanish native from Barcelona. I am an easy going, encouraging and creative person.

I moved to the UK in 2008 and performed in a rock band called the Idol Dead. I studied a jazz diploma at Leeds College of Music and moved to London to study a jazz degree at Middlesex University. I perform in weddings, corporate events, festivals with a latin jazz band called Camino Sonoro.

I am now furthering my studies on Flamenco guitar where I found the real passion !

A energetic, experienced and creative music teacher with a proven ability to get the very best out of pupils. An expert at identifying the appropriate resources required for a subject matter and then ensuring that they are used efficiently, effectively and safely. Able to demonstrate and encourage high standards of professionalism from all staff and having a capability to support aspiring young musicians.

I have been teaching privately since 2012.
I am very comfortable with all aspects of the current Rock school and Trinity music syllabus as well as performance, composition, and reading and listening skills. I possess solid understanding of these concepts and skills in the context of various musical styles, periods and genres.

I am fully qualified, with a Bachelor degree in Jazz Music from Middlesex University.
Throughout my teaching career, I have been driven to help students achieve their very best.
