Personal Description:
At the age of 4 my parents bought me a recorder and arranged for me to have priva**Contact Detail Removed**ssons because I needed something to occupy my mind. When I was a bit older I taught myself to play the piano. I moved on from the recorder to the clarinet again with the tuition of a private tutor. I was privileged to win a Saturday scholarship to Trinity College of Music, London where I attended until I started work at 16. Also during this time I was a member of the Bedfordshire 2nd County Band where I worked my way up from 3rd Clarinet to Lead solo clarinet.
I am currently Musical director of the Dagnall Community Choir.
Tutoring Experience:
My teaching experience has generally been with choirs ranging from Children to Adult. I have been involved in this for over 30 years. I have also taught a number of singing and clarinet students of various ages over the past couple of years with most taking exams and passing.
Tutoring Approach:
I believe that learning should be fun and should achieve set goals. I will work at the students speed and aim to achieve the goals that they have set for themselves. Rewards (chocolate!) for good work are appropriate

She makes you feel relaxed right from the start.
Having never sung before i didnt know what to expect but it was great fun and im looking forward to my future lessons with Michelle.
