Personal Description:

My Name is Michael **Removed By Admin** and Playing Guitar has been a big part of my life since my late teens once I got out of school and could finally focus more seriously on the things I was really interested in and with a way that was inspiring and motivating. I teach Acoustic & Electric guitar, plus Ukulele. I also have a strong interest in music technology and have also given lessons in this growing field. I am registered with the Registry Of Guitar Tutors (RGT) at the London College Of Music (LCM)

Tutoring Experience:

I have been teaching guitar both privately and in schools for over 40 years and also spent 20 years software training in the corporate world which helped further develop my training skills and made me aware of different delivery styles, assessing individual needs and introducing the use of technology in remote one to one learning (Webinars)

Tutoring Approach:

Doing one to one lessons gives me the added benefit of accessing the best path for each individual so therefore tailoring your lesson to suit your aspirations and tastes in music and adding value to your learning experience. Most lessons are carried out in your home or preferred location which I think helps students relax a bit more. My main passion and driving force it to get you playing songs with theory and exercises used on an as needed basis. I strive to highlight the familiarity between songs and exercises which helps students maintain the information and move through more songs quicker as there is less to remember.
