Personal Description:
I have been playing piano & keyboard for 18 years and as a full time musician for 10 years. I graduated in 2009 with a First Class Hons in Popular Music. I regularly work as a record producer and engineer in various studios in the Midlands. I also play keyboards for folk/indie band Speak Brother, gigging regularly all over the UK.
Tutoring Experience:
I teach piano, keyboard and music technology at Beatbox Studio in Rugby, Warwickshire. I have taught there since 2014.
Tutoring Approach:
I believe that learning an instrument or developing any musical or technical skill should always be inspiring and brought to life by focusing on music that the student loves. As well as learning songs and pieces, I teach theory, incorporate technical exercises and use graded syllabuses so that my students develop great technique and a sound knowledge of music.
