Information About Luke - Smethwick teacher

Personal Description:

I have almost 30 years of experience in playing electronic keyboard, and have held a Teacher's Diploma in keyboard for over 15 years. I perform semi-professionally with a variety of local bands.

Tutoring Experience:

I first started teaching at the age of 15, employed by music schools within the Black Country area before taking on private pupils in my early twenties. I hold an Associateship (Teacher's Diploma) with the London College of Music in Electronic Keyboard, as well as qualification in piano and music theory.

I have teaching experience with all ages, and abilities up to Grade 8 in keyboard and piano. I have also assisted in staging public concerts for pupils, as well as helping students in preparing for GCSE and A Level coursework.

Tutoring Approach:

Every person is unique, which is why I will always discuss what a pupil's goals are during their first lesson. I can help towards musical exams, or simply give structure to your playing for fun. All ages welcome, though I usually ask that children are at least 6 years old.
