Information About Lucy - Hove teacher

Personal Description:

I offer online singing tuition for students of all ages and levels of experience.

In addition to coaching vocalists privately, I am a member of two bands (blues and pop/rock) and am preparing for performing in a new musical. I have previously appeared in various operas, off west end productions, devised/collaborative works. I enjoy coaching choirs and individuals and encourage all my students to have fun while developing their voice.

Tutoring Experience:

Prior to tutoring, I completed by Grade 8, Diploma and Associate Diploma Singing exams with distinctions. I now teach students with a variety of singing, music and performance experience, styles and backgrounds. Prior to moving to private tuition, I enjoyed helping run children's choir sessions, rehearsals and chaperoning for choir showcases. I now teach individuals privately; guiding clients to develop their technique and their confidence.

Tutoring Approach:

I believe an encouraging and supportive environment is the best way to ensure my students are comfortable and perform to their best ability. I prefer to take a holistic approach as a vocal coach and tailor each session to the individual. With my extensive experience, I keep each session informative whilst still fun and enjoyable, using a variety of techniques, so my students achieve their goals. As a tutor, I put a large emphasis on technique, helping my students master multiple genres whilst also finding their own individual style.
