Personal Description:
I am a professional trumpeter and a graduate of the Royal College of Music. I enjoy a busy playing career as well as teaching, and have played with orchestras such as the Philharmonia Orchestra and the English Chamber Orchestra. With broad experience in education and performing, I like to bring enthusiasm, fun and positivity to lessons.

While learning any musical instrument requires dedication and determination, I believe this can be undertaken in such a way that is enjoyable and fulfilling, and can be coupled with a broader education in music, as a subject and an art. Through assistance with the theoretical aspects of music, I endeavour to teach the trumpet through more rounded methods, as well as ensuring that enjoyment and fulfilment in experiencing and making music is at the heart of each lesson.
