Personal Description:

Lisa-Lee has been playing the accordion since she was 4, and went on to win many titles at the UK Accordion championships. Lisa-Lee is well known in the accordion world, having been born into one of this countries most renowned accordion playing families. Lisa-lee is the MD of the John Leslie accordion group at the popular Accordion Week in West Quantoxhead. Lisa-Lee has performed in various theatres around the UK and Europe.

Tutoring Experience:

Lisa-Lee has been teaching the accordion for 24 years, with pupils going on to win UK accordion championships. Lisa-Lee currently has a 100% Distinction pass grade for all students entered into their Musical theory Examinations. Experienced in One to One and group lessons, Lisa-Lee is the registered accordion teacher at Taunton Music, and has previously taught at The Accordion Academy (Cricklewood), Morley College London, and Taunton International School.

Tutoring Approach:

I am adaptable in approach to each lesson I give, and believe that structure of the lesson needs to be based on each individual.
No two students learn in the same way!
I request my students ask themselves 2 questions on their way home from a lesson:
1. Have I learned something?
2. Have I enjoyed myself?
If they can answer yes to one of these questions they’ve had a good lesson, if they can answer yes to both questions, they’ve had a great lesson!
I am patient and experienced at working with a range of ages and abilities.
