Personal Description:

I began to study pop singing at the age of 14 at The Popular School of Arts from Braila, Romania, and one year later I decided to go with classical singing, as I felt that it helped my vocal technique more. After finishing high school I got accepted to The National Theatre of Opera and Operetta from Galati, where I performed for 2 years both as a soloist and as a choir member. In 2002 I entered The National University of Arts “George Enescu” Iasi, from which I have obtained a Bachelors degree in Arts, Musical Interpretation (Singing Performance). During my university studies I sang in the choir of The Romanian National Opera Iasi. Some of the most famous operas that I was part of are: G. Verdi's Traviata, Nabucco, Aida , C. Saint-Saëns's Samson and Dalila, G. Donizetti's Lucia di Lammermoor, W. A. Mozart's Cosi fan tutte. In 2007, I was on a tour in Italy with The National Theatre of Opera and Operetta Galati where we performed 2 well known operas of Verdi: Aida and Nabucco. I also sang in a jazz band for 3 years and we performed on some important staged in Bucharest and Braila.

Tutoring Experience:

After graduation I started teaching classical and pop singing at The High School of Arts in Braila for 14 years. As a teacher, I have won many awards with students at national and international competitions, some of them succeeding at music universities.

Tutoring Approach:

My aim is to achieve performance in a relaxed and effortless way, because all that matters is the joy of singing.
