Personal Description:
I work as a full time musician in the UK and abroad. I enjoy working with children and adults who want to learn music or a musical instrument and am happy to work with anybody who wishes to pursue their musical interests further.
Tutoring Experience:
I have enjoyed teaching both in schools, music schools and privately. As a private teacher I have pupils of all ages, some of whom read music and some of whom are only beginning to learn. I teach a variety of genres and cater for pupils who either wish to do exams, or just enjoy playing.
Tutoring Approach:
As someone who is used to teaching both young and more mature pupils, the important thing is that the pupil makes as much progress as they are able to in an enjoyable environment. If you're not enjoying the learning process then something is wrong. Whether you want to get back into practise or are a total beginner, I am happy to work as fast or as slow as your own pace allows and have a very flexible schedule.
