Personal Description:

I am a Classical pianist and a fully qualified piano teacher holding 5 diplomas. I graduated from the Royal College of Music, London in 2023 and obtained a first class Bachelor of Music(Hons) degree in piano performance under the tutorship of Andrew Zolinsky whilst being a scholar of the Joseph Calleja Foundation. By the age of thirteen, I achieved the ALCM, LLCM, DipABRSM, FLCM and LRSM diplomas in piano performance. I also studied as a specialist musician at one of the top three most prestigious music schools in the UK, Wells Cathedral School.
Experienced in teaching students of all ages, I offer piano lessons to children and adults in Whittington, Oswestry Shropshire and successfully prepare them for the ABRSM practical, theory, as well as diploma exams. Furthermore, providing my students with numerous opportunities to perform on a platform helps boost their confidence and encourages a wide participation. I am also a part of the Buckinghamshire Music Trust and currently teach in various different schools.

Tutoring Experience:

With years of experience in teaching, I encourage new pupils of all ages to have music as a part of their life. I successfully prepare my students for the ABRSM practical, theory, as well as diploma exams and provide them with numerous opportunities to perform on a platform which helps boost their confidence. I am a part of the Buckinghamshire Music Trust which provides and encourages a wide participation and great opportunities for students to perform. Working with other musicians has led me to accompany many instrumentalists and vocalists, which I enjoy greatly. This has been helpful in widening my musical experience as I am constantly working and communicating with other musicians. As an active performer holding a first-class Bachelor of Music (Hons) degree and five diplomas in piano performance, I am also a first prize winner in numerous international competitions such as Malta, England, Ukraine, France, Germany, Austria and Italy. Since I started performing at the early age of 5, I feel it is essential to talk with my students and discuss what they want to achieve, helping them develop in the best possible way.

Tutoring Approach:

As a teacher, I believe that different individuals learn in different ways. My goal is to see my pupils fall in love with music just like I have. Techniques such as games, rewards and inspirational stories help inspire them to work harder. I am a very calm and dedicated person and I believe that showing my passion for music to my students is essential as it will encourage them to grow and develop further. I strive to build a good musical foundation, incorporating theory and aural skills from an early stage. I care about each and every one of my students and I try my best to have a good teacher-student relationship with them. I praise them, helping them appreciate their success. Experimentation and exploration is a part of my teaching as it is very important for my students to discover and experiment different sounds by themselves. Seeing them grow and flourish brings me so much joy and satisfaction!
