Personal Description:

PIANO LESSONS AND MASTERCLASS I am a concert pianist and a very enthusiastic and passionate teacher based in North London. I am preparing my piano students for ABRSM and Trinity College exams, conservatoire auditions and competitions. I am also helping them to find enjoyment in playing an instrument. I have graduated with the highest distinction from two world-class music institutions including Guildhall School of Music and Drama, (Master's Degree studying with Ronan O`Hora) and Royal Academy of Music (Professional Diploma with Ian Fountain) Having completed a Fellowship programme at my alma mater I continue a career of a solo performer, chamber musician and a teacher. I started playing piano at the age of six and before coming to London I received my musical education in Warsaw. ( Frederic Chopin State School of Music )

2014 - 2nd Prize of the Christopher Duke Piano Recital Competition in London
2013 - 3rd Prize of the Brant International Piano Competition in Birmingham
2011 - Scholarship from Sinfonia Varsovia Foundation
2010 - 1st Prize of the Piano Competition of Ludwik Stefanski Plock, Poland ( special prize – recitals in Japan )
2007 - 3rd Prize of the XVth Fryderyk Chopin International Piano Competition for children and Youth in Szafarnia ( Poland )

I had performed as a soloist and chamber musician at many prestigious venues in the UK including Barbican Hall, Wigmore Hall, Purcell Room and Milton Court Concert Hall, as well as in Poland, Germany, France, Spain, Portugal, Japan and the United States.

It gives me great satisfaction and enjoyment to be able to share all my musical experience and knowledge with others.

Tutoring Experience:

I am comfortable with teaching students of all ages and levels. I taught piano and music theory for 14 years in the UK and before in Poland.
I can prepare students for ABRSM examinations ( my students have a 100% pass rate ), music competitions, concerts and auditions.
I teach as well students who are music enthusiasts and who want to progress further their piano skills. I can consider Lessons Online Depending on Availability!

Tutoring Approach:

I believe that music has a great power to enrich our lives and everyone deserves it.

Everyone is different and I adjust my approach to the need of my students. In the end, it is always about the enjoyment and inspiration which comes from music.

I teach classical piano and music theory at all levels. During piano lessons, I work with a student on the development of piano technique and musicianship as well as on his/her aural skills, harmony, sight-reading, analysis and elements of improvisation. Always depending on the student's needs and their personality.
