Personal Description:
I have been writing songs for 15 years, starting when I was 13 years old. At the age of 16, my former band in Vienna won the main prize in the Red Bull Bandwagon competition (https://archive.ph/b0WE). I completed my studies in music and production at the Liverpool Institute for Performing Arts. Following that, I worked as a composer for theatre, particularly on the West End in London (**Removed By Admin** and composed for various short films. My musical influences range from Paolo Nutini and Bill Evans to 80s pop icons like ABBA (ABBAS's genius is not to be underestimated!).
Experience includes:
- Songwriting with other artists
- Band and arrangement leader for the dance performance '27 Club' in Liverpool: **Web Address Removed**
- Session musician (weddings, restaurants, birthdays on piano and vocals)
- Music producer for various artists
- Composer and sound designer for various theatre productions in London
- Composer for 2 short films (Not yet released)
Tutoring Experience:
I've taught ages 5-35 in all ranges: from complete beginner to preparing someone in their last year of school to get into university.
Tutoring Approach:
As an artist and teacher, I enjoy challenging traditional conventions of writing and creating and believe that art involves organizing chaos. My goal is to help you find the tools to transform your emotions and creative impulses into something audible.
Each lesson I offer will be tailored to your strengths, weaknesses, and interests. We will engage in weekly songwriting exercises, study various artist styles, and write and produce specific ideas. I can also provide feedback on any songs, remixed, poems, or compositions you have written or produced.
I believe that everyone has the potential to become an artist; you just need to learn the language to translate what's inside you into something tangible that we can all enjoy. Don't hesitate to reach out to me, and we can schedule lessons right away!
What the lessons look like:
The lessons are entirely tailored to you. In our first session (which is free), I'd like to get to know you a bit, discover what kind of music you like, which artists you admire, and what you'd like to learn. If you've already written/produced something, I'd love to hear it. Then, we can start from there.
