Personal Description:

Offering singing, musical theatre, acting through song and performance technique for intermediate - advanced.

As a professional singer, dancer, actor and musician, I graduated with a first class honours degree in musical theatre from Guildford School of Acting. I have subsequently performed in West End shows, Original London Casts and toured with No.1 shows across the country.

My performing work includes Original London Cast of 'Mrs Henderson Presents' (Noel Coward, West End), Original London Cast of 'Once' (Phoenix Theatre, West End), West End Revival of 'Brief Encounter' (Empire Cinema) and the No.1 UK tour of 'Cabaret'.

I work as a freelance actor and musician and between performing and writing teaching is a big part of what I enjoy. I feel very passionately about bringing fun and joy to music lessons at the same time as inspiring confidence and self-expression. I love helping people to reach their goals and surprising themselves in what they can achieve.

Tutoring Approach:

I typically offer hourly sessions on a weekly/fortnightly basis.

I teach musical theatre/pop singing to intermediate and advanced levels and focus on learning a healthy singing technique as well as developing performance style, musicality, storytelling, confidence and presentation.

I work with each student to tailor the lessons to their needs. Having performed in many shows that require singing, dancing, acting and playing instruments, I have lots of first hand experience and techniques to help bring out the best in people.
