Personal Description:
I've been performing and creating in London since 2018, when I began studying at the Royal Academy of Music (RAM) on a full scholarship for piano performance. Since then, I've graduated with my Master of Arts degree at RAM, as well as earning a Licentiate (LRAM) and Diploma of the Royal Academy of Music (DipRAM); I now hold a Fellowship title (Aud Jebsen Fellowship) at RAM, where I teach piano as a second instrument.
I've won numerous prizes and competitions in the UK as well as abroad, and I perform at prestigious concert halls across Europe, Asia, and the United States. But I began as a student like any other - 20 years ago - and I am grateful for where this incredible musical journey has taken me thus far!
Tutoring Experience:
Having gained my Licentiate of the Royal Academy of Music (LRAM), I teach both privately and in my capacity as an Aud Jebsen Fellow at the Royal Academy of Music.
Tutoring Approach:
My lessons are fun, thorough, and holistic, aiming to improve you as a pianist, as a musician, as an artist, and as a creative thinker. In my lessons, we will work to improve all aspects of your pianistic and musical capabilities; we will work on rhythm, on musicality, on understanding the music and its harmonies, on expressing emotions, posture, how to perform, to listen, to self-criticise, to practise, and most importantly, how to LOVE playing the piano!
Anyone regardless of age and level is most welcome - whether you've never touched a piano before, or if you're at music college, or anywhere in between.
Lessons are usually between 60 and 90 minutes for adult learners; for the little ones this goes by age, but generally between 30 and 60. Thank you for visiting my page - and see you in our first lesson!
