Tutoring Experience:

For the past 10 years, I've had the privilege of teaching music in schools, where I've honed my skills as a dedicated instructor. My musical journey is always centred around the guitar, ukulele, and bass. I consider myself not just proficient but highly skilled in these instruments, and I'm eager to share my passion and knowledge with you.

I've been a teacher professionally for over 10 years and I'm currently teaching in the biggest music department in the whole of Leicestershire. My experience throughout my career is working in Coventry University, teaching aboard in China and managing a full roster of private students through FirstTutors.

Tutoring Approach:

As an experienced teacher I've learned that the best way to teach any student is by tailoring my lessons to your individual needs and interests. I believe passionately in putting your aims and ambitious first. I am always willing to deliver the skills you need in a compassionate and friendly way.

I offer all students a free video call to discuss your needs before our first lesson so we both know one another better.

I have a wide range of musical influences and I'm capable of teaching many different styles: folk, rock, jazz, blues, ska, experimental etc. I also embed performance skills and theory, into my classes.

Learning an instrument is always more complicated than we think, and I'll always make sure that you leave my lessons understanding what we've learned and where we're heading.
